Fine Arts, Sydney is presenting a solo exhibition of new work by Francis Upritchard.
Francis Upritchard is an artist whose work draws from figurative sculpture and craft traditions, with references from literature and history.
This exhibition at the gallery, titled ‘Medusa’, comprises new sculptures of figures and busts in wild rubber and cast bronze, with shibuichi and glass.
Francis Upritchard lives and works in the United Kingdom, Italy, and New Zealand. She represented New Zealand at the 53rd Venice Biennale, and has made exhibitions at museums and institutions worldwide.
This is Upritchard’s second solo exhibition with Fine Arts, Sydney.
